Dying to Communicate

A two day communication skills course. This course involves experiential learning working with senior healthcare professionals and actors.

This two day programme is designed to support health and social care staff in their communication skills in working with people who are dying, and with their families and carers. The course offers a unique opportunity for participants to revisit communication theory, and to explore their individual challenges in a safe environment. The course consists of the following sessions, delivered across the 2 consecutive days programme:

Dates are released quarterly and the courses are delivered at St Barnabas Hospice's and venues in the Lincolnshire area.

Funded courses - To support the implementation of Electronic Palliative Care Coordination System (EPaCCS) and Health Education East Midlands (HEEM), we are able to offer funded courses as indicated.

Terms and Conditions of booking

Cancelling your place - You must notify St Barnabas Hospice in writing (via email) up to 14 days before the start date of the course. Unfortunately, if you withdraw for whatever reason within the 14 day period, the fee of £185.00 will be payable.

Non-attendance - If you fail to attend the course or complete both days, the course fee will also be payable in full.

Cancellation by St Barnabas Hospice - In the event of a course being cancelled, every effort will be made to contact delegates and an alternative date will be offered.
