Education
At St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice we strongly believe that education is the key in understanding the needs of both people who have a life threatening illness and their carers. Once we understand these needs, then we are in a better position to learn the skills required, in order to provide high quality support. We are committed to providing consistent, high quality, patient centred services throughout the county.
At St Barnabas we care for people who are living with a life threatening illness across Lincolnshire, The Hospice's In-patient Unit is set in a leafy suburb of the cathedral city of Lincoln and provides a "home from home" atmosphere where patients, friends and relatives may relax and enjoy the expert care, warmth and friendship provided by trained staff with support from SRN & RGN nurses together with help our volunteers.
All courses are funded by Lincolnshire Primary Trust.
These study sessions have been designed for Hospice and hospital staff, volunteers, Health care assistants and Support workers and other palliative health care professionals.
