Bereavement

Most of us, at some time in our lives, will be faced with the loss of someone we care deeply about. St Barnabas operates a Family and Carers Support Service, which provides the following:

• Cariads - support to carers
• Bereavement Support Groups - 12 weekly meetings
• Friendship Groups - monthly meetings
• Companions of St Barnabas Hospice - formed in 1999, for people who have attended a Friendship Group and have wanted to continue meeting and enjoying each other's company.

Volunteers play a large part in these groups and in their administration.
