
Visiting is at any time throughout the day. Children are welcome and there is a dedicated children's corner in the day room. Limited accommodation may be available for relatives wishing to stay overnight.

Volunteers fulfil a number of roles in the hospice, providing snacks and tea and coffee for visitors. For patients' friends and relatives staying overnight, we provide a free breakfast and hot meals may be purchased during the day.
Services such as Chiropody, Dentistry and Optician are available on request.
The pastoral care team offer support to all patients and their families, whatever their beliefs or cultural background may be.
St Barnabas Hospice operate an open referral policy which means any of the following may refer:
- Support Sister/Macmillan Nurses within the Trust's catchment area.
- GP or other members of Primary Health Care teams.
- Members of the hospital multi-disciplinary team.
- Self-Referral by contacting the In-patient Unit.
- The Day Hospice service of St Barnabas Hospice Trust.
