Responsibilities include the delivery of care to community patients, responding to the changing needs of patients, their families and to support the work of the Team Leader / Deputy in delivering high standards of specialist nursing care.
Qualifications and Experience:Applications are welcome from candidates with current first level registration with the NMC and recent post-registration experience in the provision of clinical care in a relevant specialism – i.e. acute medicine, oncology, palliative care or community care, together with ENB 931 (1st level care of the dying) and ENB 998 Teaching and Assessing or equivalent. Due to the expansion of the Trust’s community services, a permanent vacancy has arisen for a Community Services Co-ordinator to support the Community Services Team Leader in the co-ordination of community-based clinical services and volunteer support in the Grantham area. The post-holder will be required to undertake administrative related duties to enable the efficient and effective provision of Hospice at Home, Day Care and volunteer services and to develop effective and constructive relationships both internally and with external contacts within the wider palliative care communities in order to facilitate the consistent co-ordination of clinical services.
Qualifications and Experience:Applicants must be GSCE standard at grade C or higher or equivalent in at least Maths and English, together with proven administration skills and experience within a multi-functional office environment involving regular co-ordination and liaison with people (e.g. co-ordinating meetings, training sessions or social events). The successful candidate will be competent in a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Word, Power-point and Excel spreadsheets.

Under the direction of the Facilities Manager and the Senior Cook, post-holders will assist with the provision of a safe, efficient catering service for patients, staff and visitors, promoting excellent standards of team working and customer care in accordance with local procedures. The kitchens are staffed between the hours of 7.30 a.m. and 7 p.m. every day of the week.
