40 Faces of hospice care

To mark four decades of dignified, compassionate care, we shared the stories of 40 incredible people who have helped make it possible, with ’40 Faces of hospice care’.

Every person who has worked or volunteered for us and supported the Hospice through fundraising has made a huge difference in providing care to their local communities, and we want to shine a light on those incredible people.

Included in ’40 Faces of hospice care’ are the founders who laid the groundwork for the way we provide our vital care, both former and current staff members across all departments, amazing volunteers who form the backbone of our organisation and supporters who help us continue the good work we do – including our patron Warwick Davis.

How 40 Faces worked

Every Friday since February, we shared the story of each special person on this website and social media. We looked back on their achievements, how they have supported the Hospice and their experience with us in their own words.
